A CRIPPLED MAN'S JOURNEY INTO EQUIPMENT - Part 1

First night in the new suit was Monday night. Had an absolute blast!! Never felt as much pressure as I felt in my head with the straps up and halfway down. I literally thought my head was going to explode. Session went as follows:

Safety Squat Bar Box Squats

Bar x 10

40kg x 8

60kg x 8

80kg x 6

100kg x 4

120kg x 3

140kg x 3

160kg x 1 x 2 sets - Both done with the suit on and straps down

180kg x 1 - Straps Up but was high

200kg x 1 x 2 - First one was high but 2nd one was good. 30kg PB

The sets I did with the straps down I found the suit slid down in the ass area. Was originally going to only use it straps down but after this issue i decided to counter it by putting the straps up. The 2nd rep @ 200 felt smoothish but it's clear from the video I'm not sitting back enough into the suit. I was happy with a 30kg carryover first use. Hoping that number keeps climbing in the near future. Focus for next session is to sit back more and play around with the belt to see if i can solve the straps down problem.

After the squats I did some 45 degree Back Raises

3 x 10 with 2nd + 3rd sets done with yellow band

2 x 6 with red band
